We are the Bay Area source for quality Marble and Limestone kitchen counters.

Other fabricators, and uninformed internet stories, do their best to dissuade

you from using Marble or Limestone for kitchen counters.

Our 20+ years of experience say otherwise!

Both Marble and Limestone will bring a subtle, natural and calming effect to

your kitchen, a much different look than Granite or Quartz materials can achieve.

When Marble and Limestone are used as kitchen counters, it all comes down to

the right materials for the job.  We will run you through the do's and don't of using

Marble or Limestone as a kitchen surface, just to make sure you know the facts.

We're so confident of our abilities with these materials,

we use them in our own kitchens!

Ever been to an old-time butcher, or New York or Chicago Deli?

What's on their counters? WHITE CARRARA Marble!

Commonly used kitchen quality Marbles and Limestones:

White Carrara

Statuary White Marble

Calacatta Marble

Jerusalem Limestone (all varients)

and many others...

We have a saying about using marble in a kitchen:

10 Million Italian families can't be wrong!

Just to be clear, Marbles and Limestones with a

polished finish should NEVER be used in a kitchen.

We only utilize slabs with a honed finish for use in a kitchen.

Please note: It is a common misconception that topical sealers prevent marble and limestone

from etching, this is untrue. Nothing can stop the natural interaction between

acids / alkili's and calcium carbonate. There is research ongoing to develop a truly acid resistant

sealer, but so far nothing compelling has presented itself.
